TAHIR is simply one of Australia’s finest stand-up comedians. Known for his hugely popular live performances, which have spanned over 2 decades, he is a multi-talented and dynamic live performer. He has a huge collection of credits and has concepted, co-created and starred in 2 sit-coms – ‘Smart tree’ and ‘Here come the Habibs’. He is also a Logie winning actor, having starred in ‘Fat Pizza’, ‘Swift and Shift Couriers’ and ‘Housos’, as well as 3 feature films.
MC – Jake Howie:
Jake Howie is a Sydney – based comedian from New Zealand who has perfected at the Laugh Out Loud at Enmore Theate, hosted the Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase tours at regional theatres, opened for Jim Jeffries, performed solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Leicester Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and a sell-out weekend run at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival.
Support Act – Carolyn Swindell:
Carolyn Swindell is a sought-after act on the Australian stand-up comedy scene, she has run sold-out seasons of solo shows at Comedy Festivals and was short-listed for Best in Comedy at Sydney Fringe Festival with her debut solo show. In 2022 she won Australia’s richest comedy competition, Joke Off, and has opened for acts such as Tom Gleeson. She is currently the host of hit podcast No Dribble with sports legends Liz Ellis and Catherine Cox and regularly appears on ABC Radio.
Support Act – Billy D’Arcy:
Billy D’Arcy is quickly becoming one of Australia’s stand-up superstars. In 2017 he was a RAW triple j National Finalist and in 2018 he was part of the BREAKOUT Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase. The following year he opened for Andrew Schulz on his Matador world tour. In 2022 he sold out his first national tour with his podcast ‘Get Around Me’ becoming a cult hit. Now a regular at all of Australia’s premier comedy rooms, Billy’s career is only accelerating from here.
